Our Facility

The Food Bank’s primary facility is owned by the City of Huntsville in the Martin Luther King Service Center, located in downtown Huntsville on Vernon Drive.  It consists of 15,000 sq. ft. of dry warehouse storage and 3,000 sq. ft. of refrigerated and frozen storage. Due to increased demand, the Food Bank secured a second storage facility encompasses 9,000 square feet in 2009 - though we soon reached our freezer and refrigeration capacity.

This year we are striving to increase our refrigeration and freezer capacity again so we can offer more fruits and vegetables to our clients.

Our offices are open Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, and on Fridays from 8 AM to Noon.

Our Shopping Hours (for affiliated agencies) are Monday through thursday from 9 AM to 3 PM.
