How to get food assistance

The Food Bank of North Alabama supplies food and household items to over 200 non-profit feeding programs in eleven counties.   To get help from one of our affiliated partners, click on "Find Food" on the left.  Other useful services are listed below.


Food Stamps (SNAP)

On October 1, 2008, the name of the Food Stamp program was officially changed to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).  With SNAP, you get an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card.Read more
